I saw it on the news today.... 77% of American plan to vote for Bush.. wtf man... There has to be a lot of ignorent and misguided people in America... The common misconception voters have is voting for the candidate that has the BEST CHANCE of winning.
For instance, if I were too vote, I wouldn't vote for neither Bush nor Kerry because their ideas don't reflect my ideology. Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans carry enough poise to meet my demands of what I THINK is an ideal goverment.
Of cource, me being Canadian, and the system being different, I've followed some of the positions each party and its representative puts out.
IE: the Libertarian Party logically, holds alot more credentials then the Dems or Repubs. But because their chances are alot slimmer due to lack of funding and lack of money for a campaign, people will not vote for them on a simple FACT that they won't win.
In this situation, it no longer becomes who YOU think is best for the job but IF YOUR guy wins or losses.
No one wants to come in 3rd, 5th, 8th. People want to know their guy has a chance.
Unfotunately, this is democracy and despite the complete idiocy of the majority, we have to live like they want. | |

basically i highly doubt kerry would be much worse of a president than bush, so mite as well take chances wit kerry, than already know the deal for the next 4 years...then if he fucks i just wont elect him next time
thats my main reason for votin for kerry
plus ne1 who's looks and sounds thats stupid while talkin to the public isnt gunna get my vote
