Nas rarely gets those really ground breaking beats..
every now and then he gets something that really compliments his voice and style and vice a versa
but usually if you give him a real listen, his dope lyrics can make a mediocore beat sound nice with enough word play and style
Havent heard the nas joint yet though
heard jays, i liked it better than his last couple of albums, he usually gets great beats and since its for clubs, he got lazed on his style and flow.....
from history, i'll say i'll probably like nas's over jay's but i have to listen to them over the weekend together to really make a choice.. |
