Hip-Hop Gave Up Its Staying
Power For A One Night Stand
November Headline
By Ahmad Shakespeare

“Peace queen” - Common

So, I walked into my boys house after having downed roughly six bottles of Pacifico
(with the lime of course), I had that fresh/non chalaunt look going on with my loose
jeans, simple jacket and fitted cap. Anyway, I knew roughly half of the people that were
in the house at that time, mainly the females were the foreign faces to me due to the
fact that we all went/go to different colleges. So, I meet and greet each of these cute
faced, athletic bodied females and proceed to drink on my Boddington and catch some
conversation with some of my good friends that I hadn’t seen in awhile. So, time
passes, beers are drank, conversations are made, thanksgiving leftovers are ate (Sue,
you are a queen for that broccoli casserole and mashed potatoes!!!) and we decide to
hit up the bar that just recently opened up in our side of town. So, I kiss the cook and
leave.

“Peace queen” - Common

We load up 3 or 4 cars?? And head on over to the bar, we’re in a group about 15-20
deep and we stroll up to the bouncer show him our ID’s, receive the ‘thanks, have a
good night’ and head into a bar that would be better renamed as a ‘lounge’. We
basically claim the place, but the atmosphere is a bit boring still so I order a round of
jaeger bombs just to get things started (yes, they were 10 bucks a pop god damnit).
We tap glasses, drop the jaeger in the red bull, throw it back and smile as each of us
unknowingly slam the glass on the table in front of us.

This is when I make my way over to my own table to get away from the drunken
mumbles of 15 different mouths moving at once and I focus on the live band that’s
performing (even though they were extremely poor).

But about 5 minutes later Yvonne makes her way over to my table for some
conversation. She’s a very well dressed, college educated, beautiful young lady, she
gives me the smile and the “hey you, what’s going on?”
“Just relaxing, how are you feeling beautiful?”

“I’m good, kind of tired.”

And from there lots of small talk proceeds and I remain a gentlemen the whole time for
the simple reason that she’s the type of that holds herself as a high class WOMAN. We
talked about life, love, sex, politics, food, drinks and music… this is when it hit me.
She said, “No, hip hop is boring to me, they don’t say anything and all the beats sound
the same.” Now, granted she isn’t someone that goes searching into the deep crevices
of the music world in search of good music, but why should she.

“Peace queen” - Common

I remain at my table, alone, something I rather enjoy until Trishna makes her way over
with a touch of my hand, a smile and a “hey stranger, why are you over here alone?”
“I’m just enjoying the music.” Yes, once again a little bit of small talk follows this scene
but it is quickly followed by such things as, “bitch, shut up.” Of course that saying is
dripping with a sense of comedy relief to it and yeah, she realized it, so in turn it only
lead to more smiles.

“Broad, I should slap you!” It’s funny, this saying was followed quickly after a small
discussion about future goals. The solid mix of comedy and personal disclosure made
for a hell of a connection. We talked about everything also, similar to Yvonne but her
use of the English language was more “that’s tight!” and less “yeah, I like that.”

So, anyway more drinks went through our systems, we returned back to my boys house
found a room and did a little bit of this and a little bit of that about 30 minutes later I left
with a hug and her saying, “NO, stay the night!”

“Bitch please!!!!!” – Snoop

And when I woke up the next morning I found a piece of paper with a couple phone
numbers on it, one of them was Yvonne’s… Trishna’s was nowhere to be found and
that’s exactly how I want it.

The Informers Future
November Article
By Kami

With out the consent of thraxwell house, i personally have been working my ass off to
make a site page for the informer to be put up when the main page is completed....
it will included links to bios of artists of the week.. top headlines... dailey poles... and all
the fun fucking articles posted by the contributors that mods will be able to update daily
(if all goes according to plan) heres a little sample of the templete first released to the
public... (boogie helped with the colors) it will also include the open mic mag and all
that shit legend helps out with to keep text above water....

Also... if we could really get our way... im going to make the rf mag a downloadble
.pdf file that can be read through adobe reader ... every one has it.... that will give the
mag a real official look... and it will have bonus features so that people want to
download.. including model pictures... links to alblum downloads... pictures of all the
bitches kami's slept with... idk cool shit like that.. .and in some alter universe where
shit went according to plan we would actually try to impliment the mag into the store
so you can actually "buy" the mag....

Asinine Editorial
November Article
By Apear

Welcome one and all to this month’s edition of the Asinine Editorial. The column that
you may not like and that’s okay... because you’re a fucking moron. This is the first
edition of this column so lets start with a basic introduction. I’m APeAR... your new lord
and master. Every month in this column, I’ll be looking at some new trend, style...
basically whatever the fuck I feel like writing about that month. And you will love it.
Onto the meat and two veg of this whole shin-dig...

This month I’ll be looking at one major trend that has led to a minor one. We will start
with the major one first. Pink... fucking... shirts... on guys. Who told you ass-clowns
that this was cool? The first one to raise their hand and say, “But APeAR, my girlfriend
said I look hot and manly in pink” gets a goddamn size 16 Timberland lubed up and
inserted in their rectum. My GOD people (and by God, I AM talking to myself) what the
HELL has this come to. And don’t try to tell me its just preppie white kids... I’ve seen
Cam’Ron. You’ve all seen it on your damn TV... the rappers, the young kids... everyone
is wearing pink because they either: A.) Think its cool or B.) Think it will get them some
ass. Well, you may be right about answer B.) but the ass you will wind up attracting will
be that of some dude named Felix who wants you to go to the “discotechque”. As for
thinking it’s cool? People, the last time pink was cool was in the 80's when Don Johnson
rocked that shit on Miami Vice. The only reason that people in Miami got away with it
without getting the shit kicked out of them was because everyone was high on cocaine
and didn’t know any better. Now-a-days, if you are caught rocking pink and try that
excuse, it wont work. Everyone that does coke can’t afford clothes because of the
dramatic price increase. So please... if you have a pink shirt in your closet (or folded up
on the floor with your clean clothes... lazy bastids...) Then I suggest you either throw it
out or have a good ol’ public burning.

Now, onto the fad that was sort of ushered in by pink shirts... this being the “half-popped
collar”. What... the FUCK... is this?! I saw some fucking high school kid wearing a
collared shirt the other day with the back part popped up and I just shook my head and
asked myself “Is this the second coming of Elvis?!”. You don’t look like a badass with
any pop in your collar. The only popping of collars I want to see is grabbing it by the
end corner and tugging it until it slips from your fingertips (Minor Note: This should only
be done when it is deserved... no more popping of the collar for dumb shit like a sack in
Madden... idiots).

So there you have it folks... the raw truth from someone you can depend on. Me. I hope
you enjoyed this column and take the advice to heart. Until next month.... be smart out
there... or else you’ll look like a fucking moron.

Best Battles Of Nov. Part One
November Article
By Dave E. Burnout

First we have an actual battle that took place in the HW tourny hosted by Phonix
The Match PLot vs Prestige This was a Great Battle..It was 1 sided but Pres Didn't go
down Quitely

Highlights of the Battle:
Prestige-
Infact, I said you'd never get ass, but suprise, it happened
Too bad your partner claimed the Plot had an end but no rising action
-Dope
I'm servin' this man, and I'm almost certain he's fag
Cause this Plot's about as straight as a hyperbole graph
-Dope Was feeling this

Turn ya to stone, so strong that I'll roof ya
Press got ya with dem eyes (demise), and I ain't talkin' Medusa
-Sick name flip

Nothin' but a internet geek, but I got beams, he lasers
So I'm bound to toss this clown around like Window's default screensaver
-Nice

HighLights From Plots Verse:

Seriously Pres, think yur a contender? Yur only ever a rookie at best,
Plot'll show U 'no Sir render' like looking at visions of Boogies death./
Dope

Wanna box with Plot? Dog ur just chasing yur tail,
These jabs'll so swiftly spring ya nose outta joint...
You'd think I was breaking ya face free from jail./
This was a nice bar stretched depending on how you read it
But the way i did i thought it was very nice

I punch hard honest, been known to wreck dudes in conflicts,
Pres'll be waking-up after the '007, like he slept through the new Bond-Flick./
-NIce

Slaughtering this lame in the wrong clique, spitting mortars & flames,
& way Pres always day-dreaming bout his crew, its clear hes got water on the brain./
NIce
Good Crew Referance

But just between you & me man, I've always believed U were wack,
So completely off the record, thats exactly where I'd leave your tracks./
Oach

Place calls, you aint getting signed by no team or fucking label,
Only time Prestige hitting fever-pitch is when hes sick & playing base-ball./..
Nice very nice
voters:Malone,Saber,Khalm

Match Interviews:

Plotter:
First off let me congratulate you on your win in the first round in the HW tourny..

~thanks man

You Had a Good Battle Wid Pres, were you surprised by the landslid win?

~I thought he woulda come with more heat, Ive seen him spit much nicer. It was good
to beat Pres as he's beaten me before in the League.

WHo do you think is your biggest comp in the tourny? And Do you think you'll take the
whole thing?

~Im actually having some writers block with Beyond, if I get past him I think Phonix'll be
a good match-up. I'd like to win this tourney as I dont think I fairly lost the belt & it
should rightfully mine. It'll be funny if we get to the third round and all the competitors
are heads with names beginning with 'P'.

To Me, I THink Beyond May be your best challenge but Phonix is still in it as well..witch
of the 2 would you rather battle before the finals?and Witch in it?

~Well, Ive got Beyond this week & have a bad track record against Pho, losing the LWC
to him a while back & hes beaten me once in the League I think. Last time we battled
Fluent & me beat him & Pem in the tags, so I kinda got some back on him. It also kind
of irks me that I know nothing about Beyond & its being kept secret who he is on Hf. I
think thats a kinda unfair advantage & it would suck if an internet immigrant took our
sites belt.

Now I've been a fan of your text for a min..I think you got skills in writting..Are we
ever gonna here The PLotter Audio?

~Sometime, I gotta lot to sort out in my personal life, but once I get comfortably set-up
I'd like to give it a go. Plus Im kinda unsure about how to write to a beats

Since i've known you On here you Came on and off usually battlen once a while But
Now you run The RFBL And Been very Productive on RF..How do you think RF Has
Helped You And is This how Your returning What RF's Done For You...

~Battling on the nets an outlet for my creativity. Rfs where I do it, its the best for what
it is that Ive found. Im the type of person that likes to be proud of their work, so doing
the Mod job I just try to the best I feel it could be done. I like this site alot, its got some
good heads & I feel Ive made some friends & will probably be on here for the rest of
my life.

I Just Wanted To Say Thanks For your Time And I Woulda Sent The original But i Had
To Delete Shit out my PM Box..I didn't know it deleted what i sent to people that was in
there

~lol, thats cool Dave, thanks for taking the time to talk to me. Dont stop smoking &
remember to keep buying me presents.

Prestige:
Whats your next step from here?

i'm just gonna probably battle in the RFBL once a week from now on and wait until the
next hw tourney. i'm probably gonna start doin' some topicals too. i'm always on the site,
i only post when necessary.

Where you surprised that Plot Won?

na, not at all. plot is a very good writer. i would put him up there with the best of them.
he's very underrated in my book. i hope he wins the whole thing just so i can say i lost to
the champ.

When do you think we'll see you back in gold?

Rather it be in the RFBL or for RF as a whole haha hopefully soon. theres something
about my style i gotta switch up. something isnt clicking right now. hopefully i will figure
that out asap. you'll see me in some kinda belt in the RFBL soon.

Can we expect the Pres & Subb Tag Team back in action?

i doubt it. i haven't talked to subb in months. hes pretty inactive i think here too.
Me and him already did our thing in the tag team, its time to let some of these other
dudes handle it. i dont even know who has it, but tag team was always a fun thing for
the whole site and it should be started back up again.

I asked this question to Plot and i was wondering the same for you. You've been on this
site for a min do you think its help your rap skillz at all and when can we expect a
Prestige audio if ever?

oh its definatly helped my rap skills. ive been in studios before but i dont have any of
the tracks on my computer to upload. rf is a great way to learn about how to put
together a good verse, it just ups your writing skills if you listen to what people tell
you. i'm gonna try to get goin with the audio when i'm home on christmas break.
then you'll hear some of my shit.

How It Feels To Be Tall
November Article
By Atom

Everyone wants attention. At my school, I’m the tall kid. On my basketball team, I’m
the tall white kid. The football coach begs me to play while saliva drips from his mouth.
Although I receive attention for being tall, it’s the unwanted kind. A cute blond girl
came up to me in the hallway and says:

“Hey, I know you.”

I turned to say something, but was interrupted with:

“Your really tall, you know.”

I replied with the only thing I could say;

“Yes, I know.”

Then she said something like:

“How does it feel to be tall?”

I could’ve told her that she was one of the many people each day to harass me about
my height. I also could have told her how it feels to be a tall person in a short world.

About how I would sleepily hit my head on the school bus ceiling every morning.

About how I would have to sit sideways in my seat so my knees wouldn’t be cramped,
thus occasionally tripping students and teachers walking down the aisle.

I couldn’t told her about how in 8th grade, a girl drew a picture of the entire class and
the second tallest person was up to my knee. It was blatantly obvious that my head was
in the clouds. Bit of an exaggeration, don’t you think?

I could’ve remarked about how I have to hide my feet so people wouldn’t point and
goggle at my size 16’s. I couldn’t told her exactly how many people in the school had
dandruff while I loomed over crowds.

To this girl in particular, I shrugged and walked on.

As a kid, playing hide and go seek was always a burden, as I had limited hiding spaces.
My friends hid in cabinets and closets while I resorted to hiding under the bed like a
buffoon.

When my relatives came down from New York, they would tell my fraternal twin brother
“You’ve gotten so big!” and when they turned to me, there was stunned silence.

Growing up, people would mistake me for being 5 years older than I really was. I’ll
never forget my 2nd grade teacher - who had to look up to talk to me. Picking up again
in 6th grade, I would look down to my teachers to talk to them.

I feel bad for the person who sits behind me at the movie theater.

4 years old and tall enough to ride the roller coaster.
8 years old, able to enter the weight lifting gym.
10 years old, able to wear my dad’s clothes.
13 years old, able to order alcohol from restaurants.
At 14 years old, I was able to scrape dust off the ceiling with my fingertips without
ever leaving the ground.

If the ceiling collapsed, I’d be the first to die.

At 15, people stopped asking me “Do you play basketball?” and started asking me
“Where do you play basketball?”

The phrase “Act your age, not your shoe size” bears no meaning to me. I am
meaningless, and eventually I will die.

And when I die, my coffin will not fit.

Meeting With Malphunxion
November Interview
By Demise

Can’t you remember your passwords for your older accounts?

Ha. I changed my name from Malphunxion to ISL& awhile back, and for some
mysterious reason, that name no longer exists. So I gotta fresh post count and a bunch
of people that don't know who the fuck I am. It's kinda gay.

It’s good to see you have returned? Has illness been the cause of your inactivity?

Thanks. It feels good to back.Yeah, illness is mos def why I haven't been around for
almost 2 years. Madness...

From what I understand you’ve been sick for a while, want to fill us in on what’s up?

I got mononucleosis : p back in November, 2004, and if that shit hits you really hard,
it SUCKS. I'm really physically fit and active, but for some reason I had that shit for 6
months. I was just super tired and achey all the time, and I'd catch viruses really easy.
After a certain time-span, 'cause I haven't improved, I was diagnosed with Chronic
Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome. It's basically like having the flu every fucking
second of your life. It's just starting to get recognized as a real disease by doctors, and
there's no cure or set treatment, so I've just been taking mad supplements and trying to
build my immune system back up. I've been sick for 2 years, and it's pretty much
unbelievable. LOL. Your health is everything, man. Once that's compromised, you're
fucked. I'm pretty lucky 'cause a lot of people are incapacitated, like confined to bed,
with this. I'm basically semi-retarded because your nervous system gets so taxed when
you're sick, the way I am, for this long. Those who know me probably noticed I'm not
myself, but once I'm healthy again, watch the fuck out. I'm at 25% of my true ability on a
good day. You're gonna witness some shit on Rapflava... Sob stories, ha.

What’s your take on Rapflava now, as opposed to 3 years ago?

Overall, I don't think much has changed. Audio's remained about the same. Text has
fallen off a bit. File Sharing is bangin'. I guess I can be classified as an 'older member'
now. The dudes that were vets when I registered are kinda ancient relics now, and I
don't wanna be put into that category, so I'm gonna keep evolving my writing. I think
most respected text guys've kinda moved in my direction during my absence. I see my
style being emulated. I love RF. Hopefully this shit'll be around when I'm an old man,
and Chris still won't know how to spell. Only thing that's really changed is that
battle-wise, substance is getting sucked dry. Nameplay's are wack. Multies don't matter.
Wordplays and metaphores aren't that big. It changes every few months, apparently. I
think people need to read the verse as a whole or just do 2 bar battles.

Its good to see Group Therapy back up, do you have any plans for the crew?

I think we def have the ablility to make something big happen, but that's not really
what we're about. As individuals, we've all accomplished a lot, and we're young. I'll
probably have a website up at some point, just for shits. We got this Mental Illness
Mixtape thing going on. It all depends on what GT wants... We make moves as a unit.
On the RF tip, collabs and dope rhymes. That's it.

Why do you battle text? Is it just an outlet or do you rap in real life?

I used to do it for stripes, when I was 14 or 15. Now I just do it 'cause it helps me
stay sharp, and if motivation is down, it can really get your mind working. It's a great
outlet to be creative and take out whatever energy you want through something you
love. Most of my shit is battle-based, brag material anyway. I freestyle and stuff in the
real world, but I just love writing lyrics. And that's as far as I'll get with it. Nothing too
deep.

You would you say are your biggest influences, lyrically?

As far as rappers, Louis Logic, Mac Lethal, The Saurus, Copywrite, Jedi Mind Tricks,
Brother Ali and Reef The Lost Cauze top the list. On RF, Sever, Shred Contract and
Stoic make me wanna write, 'cause we share a similar style and they produce dope
shit. There's others, but those are the main dudes I respect.

Heard your friends setting up a studio, have you got any plans for audio-tracks?

Yeah, I've been wanting to record for a while. I'm kind of a perfectionist, and being
sick, it's REALLY hard to get my mind and body on the same page to do anything more
than take a piss. Once I get some money together, I'm gonna try a few different
medical procedures that might help me recover faster. As soon as I'm feeling good
enough, I'll definitley lay down some shit. Until then, I'ma stay on the lyric tip and
maybe do some freestyle-ish in the studio.

What’s your wreckord like? Any battles that standout in your memory?

On the net, I'm 150-7. A-Dubb whooped me, then I whooped him. Smurf Da Genious
whooped me. Sematic beat me twice, both were keyed and controversial. SKAAL beat
me. Caliber beat me under some crazy circumstances. And Ender One also got a win
against me, but I feel that was a bullshit story. Most of my battles from when I first
came to RF in 2003 standout, 'cause I was doing three a week and was kinda
untouchable, in-my-prime kinda feel. And of course, the HW Finals where Sever and I
both bitched out. Can't forget that one...

Which 5 people on Rapflava would you currently like to battle on RF?

Stoic, Sever, Caliber, Sematic and Ender One.

Do you frequent any other hip-hop forums, or is Rapflava the only one?

I'm registered on a lot of other ones, mainly 'cause I wanted to see what the
competition on other sites was like and what styles people were using in my early days.
But Rapflava is homebase, and it's where I'ma stay from now on.

Do you get involved in any of the other elements of hip hop? (ie. Break-dancing etc..)

I tagged a wall once. That's about it. I battle and cypher and write my name in the
margins of my notebooks. Flavorrrrr.

Lol, If you died tomorrow & were at the Pearly-Gates what would you say to God?

Holla at ya boy.

Who you picking for the 2 finalists of the current Heavyweight tourney?

Beyond and Malphunxion.

Best Battles Of Nov. Part Two
November Article
By Dave E. Burnout

Next for the Topical belt in the RFBL it was Pem and Legend
It Was A Battle That coulda went ether way.
pending on what kinda text you like to read ether coulda got your vote

Legend vs Pem
Topic: Death Before Dishonor
Legends verse:
he charged forth, unsheathing his sword, seek to destroy
the boy as his blade seeps through his core
he fought a lil more then collapsed to the floor
she screamed as he killed the one her passion was for
his eyes fastened on the queen, in the rapture of things
guards dashed in on the scene as he gathered a swing
took a spear to the knee still he managed to cling
to the sword, in remembering the oath that he swore
"protect the king from enemies and fortunate whores"
killed the 3rd guard as the King bolts through the door
He was followed by the Calvary force
Oblivious to the slaughter, as they trampled a corpse
They surrounded Ophylus the head of the knights
One rushed in and got impaled by his knife
Another dashed from the back and 2 from the front
He dodged one blade but took 2 to the gut
Subdued on the floor, the King examined the sights
Yet couldn’t figure why O was attacking his wife
He spied a body by his queen where the dieing begun
Shock overcame his face it was Ophylus’ son
"Why’d you kill your son, This I gotta know"
"I’d rather see him die before he dishonored the Throne"

This was a very well written peice..It had very good imagery and the flow was
off the chain. It hit the topic on the head and it had a very good twist I wanna
say props cas this coulda went ether way. Thats Honstly why i couldn't vote it
was way to close and just cas somebody had longer bars i wouldn't say it was
better cas each was great in there own way

Pembroke:
Tokyo's most powerful businessman, Zheng Wudan, the ceremonial type
Sitting behind his skyscraper desk overlooking Japan's industrial might
Living by remembrance of the naval war, battling tirade forces
From investments in harbor construction, trade, and highways soaring
The man behind the massive automobile companies, he vouched for a purpose
Responsible for the employment for hundreds of thousands of workers
With each image he sold, electronics, energy, gold
He made sure that every night he would kneel before the ancestors of old
An individual with monocle frames, dedicated to honor and space
Two full moon spectacles united under the dawn of the age
One day during December's largest shipping date, he made a bold assumption
To drop factory waste into the ocean bay, he ordered "Dump it."
Before the questions from the government, 3,700 children lay rest
Killed by contaminated water while Zheng still sat behind the same desk
During a meeting with the Chinese president, the metropolis changed
His entire empire came crashing down with a droplet of flame
After receiving the news, Zheng, devastated, couldn't utter a word
He climbed the stairs to the roof of his building and knelt to the Mother of Earth
The morning sunlight shown upon the businessman, forever known
He had chosen death before dishonor, eternally left alone..

I Must say like i said to Leg This was a very well written peice.. The flow
was good but it coulda honestly been better, Mixed alil more wid multi's.
But that don't mean its anyless of a great peice. Your style is different But
very imagenative.. Congrates on a successfull title defence

voters: Strongarm,Nog,queenspitta (though it wasn't counted do to beef),
and H.W.I

Interviews:

Kalhm:
Whats up family, Hows life treating you?

First off i wanna say that that was prolly 1 of the Best topicals i've ever seen minus
are battle like 5 months back!

-I'd have to agree with you there. he came a lot better than I expected
Now If you could change anything about what your wrote would you?And why?

-I wouldnt chgange anything. Thats my style either you feel or you don't. I write all my
verses to actual beats so they flow on point so later i can record them. A lot of the
verses i see from cats CANT be recorded.

I know Pem won but that battle to me coulda went ether way,Do you feel that you
shoulda won? and why?

-I think next week you'll see my answer.

Do you think your flow made your imagry lack at all?

-Lack imagery? hell no. it had imagery if you couldn't visualize the scene I described
then you're the one thats lacking. LOL What i didn't do was be as descriptive as Pem.
He had better imagery due to his longer bars. period

You got a rematch for ity the fallowing week, but gave it to Vic cas he won the
contendership the week of this battle..What made you change your mind?

-Because of the fuss he made about it. And it was only fair. but now he's holding the
RFBL up with his late ass verse. I'm thinking now I should've made him wait. I had
planned a murderous verse to that topic. Sorta like the one I did against you in our
rematch.

Do you wish to be the first RFBL Topical Champ to retire the belt? And If So You'll prolly
have to battle Pem for it again Do you think you can take it back?

-I will be the 1st RFBL Topical Champ to retire the belt. I've already Held more times
than anyone else.

If you do take it Back id like to be the first to congratulate you and also the first to strip
you of it..Whats your thoughts on that do you think its possible?

-Sorry Dave but you will never beat me again. LMAO. on a side note after i retire the belt
i think i may start up an Open Mic Belt.

Well Thanks For The interview i appreciate it and hope to do another 1 with you again
in the near future

-No doubt. I'll be here for a while longer i'm sure I'll still be one of the best on the site
so you'll have plenty of chances to interview me again.

PeMbroke:
Whats up Pem,

Ayooo,

First let me congratulate you on holdn down the topical belt..You had a great Topical
against Legend prolly the best since me and him battled..

Thanks Dave, I hope me and him get to rematch soon enough.

Did you think after the verses were posted that you were gonna win?

Yes, he'd made a comment in the beef thread on C4 about a new topical champ taking
over after I posted, and when I later went to review his verse, I had already had 2
votes.

I like the way you use so much imagery, Would you ever sacrifice that for flow? Or
maybe Mix them equally?

I try to keep all elements of my writing balanced. There's Earth (Rhyme scheme
foundation), Fire (Image/detail), and Water (Rhythm and theme) I woke up one
morning, thought of a storyline, and went for it. Keep your idea alive and adaptable to
any changes.

Your not really a Multi using writer why is that?

Most of my older open mics all had multi usage. Example: Homemade Aspirin. Me
and Noggah's Penguins vs. Seals collab also was packed with multis because I jammed
as many ideas as I thought possible into the confinements of my verse.

Do you think you've gained alot from RF as far as Being a Writer?

Yes, definitely. Rapflava is an island oasis from reality (minus a few negatives like
hurricanes, cannibalistic tribesmen, and GTWIST) Writing topicals every week is a
significant exercise in improving your skills.

How long do you think you'll be holdn the Topical Belt with Leg hot on your trail and
myself comin back into the topicals?

7 more weeks minumum!

Congrats on holdn the belt so long and being the only person since me to defend it so
much. When i had it i lost interest after holding it do to no-shows do you think you'll ever
lose interest and go after somethen else?

What else is there to go after? I'm in the HW tournament, which is kind of a struggle
since I haven't written punchlines in awhile. Maybe the Short Story Competitions will
quench my thirst.. but for now, as long as I have fully functioning fingers, I'll be in the
RFBL topicals.

And like i've asked everybody that i've interviewed this month, You've been here a hot
min doing text..Do you think that you'll be goin audio..Anytime soon or in the near future?

Naw. Some of my friends say I sound like C-Ray Walz when I rap aloud.. but that's
where it ends. Music isn't something I'd like to get into - writing and other things
related to it are what I'm sticking with now. Audios not my thaaang. Thanks for the q
though, I'll still be giving feedback in Grab the Mic.

You've reached being 1 of the text elite as have many,We are waitn to hear you spit
somethen audio..Do you feeel you've done as much as you could text and are you even
trying to start maken tracks?

I'm afraid I'll be remaining a member of the TEXT elite. If there's ever a turnover, you'll
be the first to hear about it.

You've been in DC forever as have I, have you ever been on any other site where your
"Net Crew" treated you like family as do we?

Never been in any other net crews, I was never a rap site dweller.. that's a nice idea
for the next DC collab.
DC: Forever (Vick, Jay, & the purple monkeys)

Well this concludes this interview. I wanna thank you for your time i know how precisous
it is..Again Congrats on holdn down the belt and good luck in the weeks to come and
also good luck this week against Vic
