dude, james hird is THE MOST OVERRATED afl player ever. dude is ALWAYS injured, and anything he does commentators just go way over the top. he is a huge liability for the essendon footy club. hes def gonna retire at the end of the year. right now the bombers are fucked.

meanwhile here in adelaide :) we're taking the game to a new level of running and skill. Riccuito, Goodwin & McLeod are true legends, and not 1 person in our team doesnt pull their weight. our whole 2006 side are fucking legends.

EDIT : let me just continue my rant about james hird. dude had one great season, and he won the brownlow. thats great for him, he did play well i accept that. since then however, he has been an average player, who occassionally plays great games (i will include that he is a performer on big occassions, so props to him for that) BUT, there are WAY more consistant players. And commentators are on his nuts SO fucking hard. an ordinary player could kick a freak goal, and the commentators just acknowledge it as just another score, but if hird kicked it then they would claim thats its saved essendon the game and give him man of the match.

I love watching him on the Footy Show with blokes like Nathan Brown and Nick Reiwoldt who are fucking legends playing in good teams, when Hirdy is there injured and playing for the worst AFL team in a long time.
