Re: Heat Champs! 06' finals is one for the history books, the dawn of a new era. I can see great Bill Walton on NBA TV descringing as one of the NBA's greatest playoff comebacks as he himself was on one of the other teams to come back and win the NBA finals after loosing the first 2 games. Heat down 2-0 in series and down 13 with six minutes left in the 4th quarter in game 3, and when it looks like the Heat are going to lose and drop behind 3-0 in the series. Almost all the players on the Heat look like their finals' run was over and no rings for those veterans, but one player on the Heat was not willing to give up yet. Though he had sustained an injury and was exhausted, Dwyane Wade managed to drew up whatever energy and will he had remaining from what would seem to be an endless well and bring his team back in to the game and bring hope back within his teamates. Haslem and GP came up with some clutch plays and help the Heat win the game. This win would spark the Heat to start playing the way that brought them to the finals and it was their defense that really help them to win those close matches and the amazing performance of Dwyane Wade who put up numbers for the history books.
D-Wade playoff stats : RPG=5.90 APG=5.7 SPG=2.22 BPG= 1.13 PPG=28.4
Fianls stats by D-Wade: RPG= 7.80 APG=3.8 SPG=2.67 BPG=1.00 PPG=34.7
I also heard that the NBA is changing the NBA logo (Jerry West) and replacing it with Dwyane Wade not sure what it looks like yet though. Anyways Heat are the 2006 NBA champs, I have been watching D-Wade since the Marquette days in the final four and lnew then that he would be something big in the NBA. Now I need to cop a Heat #3 jersey and a Marquette #3 jersey.
Peace out people
